Dora Aguero
September 8, 2012

This exhibition was organized for the anniversary of Nuestra Senora de la Caridad, an image of Mary found about 400 years ago. Alan Manuel Gonzalez was greatly involved in this exhibition since he believes that such icons can lead humanity towards a better path for living. Gonzalez created nine pieces exclusively for this exhibition, paying homage to this image of Mary that became of great importance to the Cuban people.

The exhibition opened on September 08 at Havana’s Cathedral in time for the celebration of the Virgen de la Caridad anniversary celebration.
