Artwork Description
Paul Hunter based his “Sirens” series on the advertisement billboards placed in cosmopolitan areas, where series and fashion objects are advertised. These advertisements use the images of beautiful women to entice the viewers to consume what is being sold, whether it’s entertainment or things. “Sirens” then becomes the perfect title for this series, for these beautiful images will lure their viewers into believing the illusion offered in this “larger-than-life” imagery.
