Guillermo "Miki" Gutierrez’s sculptures exemplify his profound interest in the relationship between space and volume, aiming to evoke a positive emotional response from his audience. His works often exhibit a geometric inclination, yet at times, they can take on a more organic form. Gutierrez has explored both large and small formats, showcasing the influence of renowned sculptors such as Henry Moore.
While bronze remains his preferred medium, Gutierrez does not limit himself to it exclusively. He has worked with various materials, including stone and wood, employing a diverse range of finishes to achieve distinct aesthetic effects in his pieces.
Over the course of his illustrious career, Gutierrez has held more than 60 solo exhibitions and participated in over 160 group exhibitions. His works have been displayed in prestigious venues such as Opera Gallery New York, Opera Gallery Miami, the Museum of Fine Arts of San Luis Potosí, and Mexico City's Art Space, among many others.
