Michele’s academic foundation includes studies in Graphic Arts at José Matías Delgado University in El Salvador, followed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Universidad Nuevo Mundo (UNAM) in Mexico City. Her career as an artist began with illustration, primarily using watercolors for children’s books and portraits. In 2003, she transitioned to oil painting, producing her transformative piece "Mourning," which marked a pivotal moment in her artistic evolution—transforming personal loss into a celebration of life through art. Her artistic voice continued to flourish during her time in Chicago, Illinois, where she refined her technique in a studio space that nurtured her creativity. Now based in Bentonville, Arkansas, Michele draws inspiration from the region’s vibrant art community and its proximity to the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
