Read about Gabriela Cassano

Gabriela graduated as a drawing and painting teacher from the National School of Fine Arts “Prilidiano Pueyrredón” (1977). She then completed her artistic training in the workshops of Aníbal Carreño and Carlos Cañas. She worked as a teacher in Visual Arts Education at the Instituto Vocacional de Arte of the City of Buenos Aires (1978/1993), where she collaborated in the creation of the kindergartens focusing on Education Through Art. Her work is included in the book entitled “Artistas Visuales Argentinos en la Gráfica Contemporánea”, published by the CDE in 2015. In 2009, she was invited to paint a mural as part of the Puertas del Bicentenario Program of the Government of Buenos Aires, to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the Revolution of May 1810. The mural was painted at the small square called “Luna de Enfrente”, located at the intersection of Soler and Gurruchaga streets in the city of Buenos Aires
