“My paintings are the result of the unavoidable circumstances that surround my daily life. They are metaphors denouncing the social, political and spiritual ailments of my present condition. I use a lyrical language to give voice to my vicissitudes and to the outcries of my fellow countrymen.

My discourse is non-elitist. It is to be easily understood by ordinary people who are immersed and confronted with a crude reality. The reason for painting this kind of imagery that is often wrapped in a veil of beauty is to offer redemption to those that contemplate it. I also use it as a reminder of the quality of life we are living, and as a visual prayer that our future may be blessed with joy and well-being.”
